Kiara + Joe : An intimate Nelson Bay wedding
Kiara and Joe first met in their hometown of Nelson Bay. They lost touch, and 6 years later, reconnected and their love blossomed. They have since moved halfway across the country to start a life together.
I love the way they spoke of each other. Joe in his vows mentioned that he always has her best interests at heart, and that he doesn’t take it lightly that she packed up her life to follow him as he pursues his military career. During her getting ready, Kiara shared with me the story of their plane trip back to Nelson Bay for their wedding. She watched Joe help an old lady who was struggling with her heavy bags in the airport. The old lady mentioned that she hadn’t experienced that kind of help for quite some time. As she recounted to me the story, I saw Kiara get smitten all over again with her gentleman.
